Italian Language and Mosaic Art Course

Ravenna is home to some of the most fascinating works of art using ancient mosaic techniques. Constant study of these masterpieces has meant that Ravenna has always kept alive its priceless expertise in this field, and the quality of the “Ravenna School” remains outstanding.
To get into this wonderful world of mosaics, you don’t need any prior knowledge nor a particular flair, just a little perseverance and patience!
Everyone can express their artistic nature and creativity through mosaics.
Our basic course consists of two weeks of intensive Italian language course (20 lessons per week) G/20, combined with 6 or 12 theory and practice lessons on mosaic art per week.

Decoration of objects: vases, trays, photo frames, boxes;

Direct technique on lime or cement with marble tesseras;
copying ancient mosaics.

Materials and tools provided by the School;

The work produced remains the property of the students.

Mosaic course type A:
1 weeks of G/20 course: 20 lessons per week of intensive Italian language course in the morning, from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 13.00
+ 6 Mosaic lessons, Tuesday and Thursday, from 15.00 to 18.00.

Mosaic course type B:
1 weeks of G/20 course: 20 lessons per week of intensive Italian language course in the morning, from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 13.00
+ 12 Mosaic lessons, from Monday to Thursday, from 15.00 to 18.00.
